Summer Stock Stage Academy is an exceptional two week musical theatre camp experience for students entering grades 3-9.

In summer 2025 our Academy program will take place at Shelton Auditorium on campus at Butler University. 

This year academy will be a FULL DAY camp, and will include a daytime dress rehearsal as well as an evening performance on the final day of camp.  In addition to rehearsing for their final performance, participants will also have the opportunity to participate in workshops that build their skills as a performer, as well as participate in creating costume and set elements for the show.

Our production of Descendants Jr. will rehearse for two weeks from June 2nd-13th.  Rehearsals will be Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 4pm.  Drop off will begin at 8:30am, and pickup will occur from 4pm-4:15pm.  Performers will need to bring their own lunch each day.

A dress rehearsal will be open to the public at 10:30am on Friday June 13th.  A public performance (with free admission) will be presented on that same day at 7pm.  On the day of the performance, students will stay through the show and will be provided with a pizza dinner.
